 What is a process server?

Hi world.

If you have read my other blogs, you will understand what is a process server Queensland?

What is the requirements to be licensed in the state of Queensland?

How to become a process server?

There are instances when you don’t need a process server to serve your documents.

There are special circumstances that you don’t need a licence too be a Process Server in Queensland or indeed work as a Private Investigator.

How & Why?

  1. If you are getting divorced and can have a friend or a family member serve the documentation for you.
  2. All though this may be true, this is a real risk in many ways but is a much cheaper option .
  3. The risk you are taking, the forms are not correctly actioned and signed in the correct place & Conflict with friends and Family.

What You Pay for.

When attending a Justice of the Peace to have your document witnessed, sometimes the J/P might not have seen the form before.

The mistakes in the witnessing of the Affidavit of Service & Acknowledgement of service, causes problems at the registry when filing.

JP’s cannot give you legal advice and neither can Process Servers & Private Investigators.

I recommend that in all family law matters that require document service, that a licensed Process server is engaged as we are Independent.

This will guarantee the validity of your document after it has been witnessed.

In all legal matters please seek the advice of a Legal Professional.

Chiefly, Don’t listen to the “my mate did it his way & it tells me on google” stories.

Getting advice from a lawyer will set you on the right track with your matter and you can choose your process server.

If you are using a legal professional ask them if their Process Server is Licensed.

They don’t need to be if they are an employee of the legal Professional.

It is recommended by all professional bodies in both industries, AIMPAC is Ours..

Steps to a successful service of documents.

2.  File your documents in the CORRECT registry

3.  Serve only Registry Stamped copies (not the one off your computer).
